Abstract

Indonesian people as users of NATURAL gas cylinders from year to year are increasing. This situation occurs because of the implementation of a government program that is the conversion of kerosene to NATURAL gas with the aim of diverting subsidies and the use of kerosene by the public to NATURAL. The risk of using NATURAL gas which often occurs leakage is found in gas cylinders or gas installations. The NATURAL gas leak detection system uses an Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller, MQ-2 Sensor, SIM800L Module, and Step Down Module. This system will work if the MQ-2 designer gets data input in the form of gas. The sensor will send data to the microcontroller and the microcontroller will automatically turn on the buzzer and fan and make phone calls as notification. The benefit of this system is to provide information and early warning if there is a gas leak in a room. In this system using sensors as indicators or input in reading gas levels. The conclusion of this final project is the creation of a prototype of a gas leak detection system. The entire system or hardware on this tool is already running with the desired results.
